Osime Home is an online shop specialising in African-inspired home and lifestyle accessories. Bold and brimming with character I offer a selection of quality limited-run cushion covers (for now, but watch this space, there's more to come) in various African prints designed to instantly inject colour, uplift your mood and make everyday living a little brighter.
The name Osime [pronounced OH - SI- MEH] originates from the Esan tribe (Edo, Benin state) in the Southern part of Nigeria, meaning ‘This is my own. It reminds me of home, my culture, it’s warmth and vibrancy one which always brings me joy. Born and raised in the UK, growing up my home was a treasure-trove of African textiles, accessories and products that reminded me of my cultural heritage.
Osime Home was established in October 2017. After buying my first home with my husband I struggled to find home decor that celebrated African design, textiles and that reflected my vibrant African community, which is a big part of my identity. So I began making and creating my own African-inspired accessories and well, here we are.
